In his 12th year at Wagner, Schwartz was recently promoted to Senior Associate Athletic Director. In his present role, he is responsible for all internal and external operations of the Seahawk Athletics Department which includes the department's finances, supervision of corporate marketing, Seahawk Club development, facility and equipment management, championship events and several varsity sport programs.

Schwartz has been instrumental in Wagner's recent development projects, which include the first permanently constructed football stadium on campus (1997) and the 93,000 square-foot Spiro Sports Center (1998).

Schwartz came to Wagner as an administrative assistant in August 1994 and was named business manager one year later. He was promoted to assistant athletic director in 1996 and to associate director in 1998.

A 1993 graduate of Cortland State, Schwartz earned his master's degree in sport administration from Temple University in 1994. Schwartz also received his M.B.A. from Wagner College in 1998. Schwartz married former Kelly Burke and the couple resides in Marlboro, NJ.
