 Football Class of 1961 Still a member of the Wagner College football record book, Wilson still holds the Wagner record for touchdown catches in a season, scoring nine in 1961. That same year, he finished the season with 30 catches for 608 yards, both of which were second best in Wagner history. Wilson also was a key contributor to the 1960 undefeated team (9-0). Wilson excelled on the diamond as a pitcher on the Seahawk baseball team. He had an 11-8 record and owns a career ERA of 3.19, currently fifth in Seahawk history. Wilson was also a Metropolitan Collegiate Baseball Conference All-Star in 1960 and 1961. |
