 Football Class of 1950 One of the top gridiron stars for the Seahawks, Scaffa took a team that was 1-7-1 and led them to a 7-1-1 record in 1949. During that season, he directed the team through an eight-game unbeaten streak and to a school record 254 points, which stood until 1960. Scaffa graduated as the season and career leader in completions and passing yards. Scaffa is currently retired and living with his wife, Janet in Staten Island, NY. |
