One of the most prolific scorers in Wagner College basketball history, Ray Hodges ranks as the number two all-time leading scorer in Seahawk history with 1,966 points. Hodge still holds the record for most points in a game with 49 versus Moravian in 1969. His 27.4 points per game in 1970 and his 26.1 average in 1969 are the third and fourth-best season scoring averages ever. A complete basketball player, Hodge also ranks 10th in Seahawks history with 734 rebounds. The teams which Hodge played on posted a 69-41 record during his tenure. During his stay at Wagner, Hodge also competed for the Seahawk track and field team and was a talented sprinter.
